UE 117 Series Hazardous Environment Switches
Rugged pressure and temperature switches for Class I/II, Div 2 hazardous areas or corrosive atmospheres. Single SPDT switch output (DPDT optional), internal adjustment, reference scale, NEMA 4X enclosure, sensor materials to meet media and environmental requirements, UL, NACE approved, CE compliant.
Approved for Division 2 hazardous locations and corrosive atmospheres, United Electric's 117 series switches can be used to measure vacuum, pressure, differential pressure, and temperature in demanding applications in steel and aluminum mills, chemical and petrochemical plants, pulp and paper mills, wastewater treatment, midstream and downstream oil and gas, and pharmaceutical manufacturing plants.
The UE 117's compact, epoxy coated enclosure and hermetically sealed snap switch provide superior corrosion resistance within the harshest environments, isolating the contacts from moisture, humidity, and chemical atmospheres. Sensors are available in materials from all welded (NACE-compliant) stainless steel to elastomer diaphragms.

- Pressure ranges from 30" HgVac to 3500 PSI with internal setpoint lock and high/low reference scale
- Temperature ranges from -120° to 640° F with reference dial
- NEMA 4X epoxy-coated diecast aluminum enclosure
- Polished stainless steel flush-mount sensors
- 1/4" or 1/2" NPTF brass or stainless steel process connections
- Enclosed terminal block wiring
- UL Listed Class I, Division 2, Class II, Division 2, Class III Certified, CE Compliant, NACE Approved (welded diaphragm models), ATEX Approved
