Industrial Automation Account Executive

Western Oklahoma (A-Tech, Inc.)

The primary role of the Account Executive is to generate revenue from potential industrial automation customers and increase wallet share by networking, visiting, calling or other means. They are required to grow and retain existing accounts by planning persuasive approaches and presenting new solutions and services to convince customers to increase their business volume with the company.  The Account Executive works with senior level management, business development managers, inside branch sales and technical staff, and marketing.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Actively promotes the company’s products and services utilizing the company’s selling process and communicating our value propositions to customers.

  • Provides exceptional personal customer service to all internal and external customers.

  • Uses company provided selling tools to jointly develop account strategies and tactics with the team and to maintain accuracy in customer data and the sales funnel.

  • Listens to and manages resolution of customer concerns by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to the team for supporting the customer’s and the company’s shared goals.

  • Proactively conducts sales calls, utilizing probing questions to identify the customer’s needs and opportunities, learn about the customer’s business, our competitor’s actions, our technology, and the customer’s industry.

  • Meets and maintains all minimum sales activity levels to include attainment of sales revenue/margin quotas, calendar activity, quote, opportunity, and project lead follow up monthly, quarterly, and annually.

  • Develops and implements sales planning strategies to achieve all goals and total spend opportunity associated with assigned accounts.

  • Works collaboratively with team members as necessary to maximize sales opportunities while not diverting from core sales responsibilities.

  • Coordinates customer visits with internal leadership, subject matter experts, and vendor visitors.

  • Presents new products and services and enhances existing relationships.

  • Works with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.

  • Creates and maintains account management plan for all assigned accounts.

Preferred Qualifications

Manager, Materials Management

Bensenville, IL

The Manager of Materials Management is responsible for continuously improving the materials management function by creating, implementing, and maintaining processes to measure, monitor, and optimize inventory performance and better manage purchasing and materials management tasks.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Directs purchasing and materials management team in executing daily operations and solving exceptions

  • Implements and maintains a manage-by-exception approach to warehouse and purchasing operations, using dashboards, metrics, and reports to identify and address issues

  • Maintains and improves inventory management performance by monitoring stockout rates, turns, and E&O

  • Identifies/executes efficiency, optimization, and safety initiatives within relevant functions

  • Reviews, maintains, and generates reports/dashboards, enforcing target metrics through direct feedback

  • Ensures fluid exceptions processing, including expedite requests, item returns, and item repairs

Order Entry Clerk

Bensenville, IL 

The primary role of the Order Entry Clerk is to enter orders and information into the company’s operating systems, answer and process incoming phone calls from customers and other departments, and assist with projects and clerical duties as needed.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Enter and acknowledge orders placed via fax, mail, and e-mail

  • Answer incoming phone calls, qualify those calls, and forward them to the appropriate personnel/department

  • Assist Sales department with a wide variety of projects as assigned

Sales Consultant

Tulsa, OK (A-Tech, Inc.)

The primary role of the Sales Consultant is to generate revenue from select accounts and increase wallet share of existing customers by networking, emailing, calling or other means. They are required to grow and retain existing accounts by planning persuasive approaches and presenting new solutions and services to convince customers to increase their business volume with the company. The Sales Consultant works with A-tech management, outside sales, product specialists, plant managers, maintenance technicians, and buyers within targeted accounts. 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Actively promotes A-tech’s products and services by utilizing sales principles and communicating the company’s value propositions to customers

  • Receives and services inbound calls from customers

  • Follows all pricing guidelines in issuing product quotes and develops/maintains a thorough understanding of A-tech’s processes and procedures

  • Creates bill of materials and quotes and provides data sheets for projects

  • Specifies products, making recommendations based on use case information

  • Provides technical guidance to customers

  • Prospects new customers, qualifies leads, researches information, and generates tasks for outside sales team

  • Directs, monitors, and consolidates customer data to jointly develop account strategies and tactics with the team
