SVAN 979

SVAN 979 Class 1 handheld sound level meter can be used in sound insulation measurements, precise frequency or signal tonality analysis.

By connecting a vibration sensor, you can also use the SVAN 979 as a vibration meter and perform acceleration, velocity, and displacement measurements.

Svantek's SVAN 979 Class 1 handheld sound level meter can be used in sound insulation measurements, precise frequency or signal tonality analysis. It's designed to perform frequency analysis in 1/1 and 1/3 octave bands, FFT analysis, and record audio for noise source recognition. The Omnidirectional GRAS 40 AE microphone lets the SVAN 979 measure frequencies as low as 3.15 Hz.
You can also get facade, airborne, or impact sound insulation results with RT 60 measurement and signal generator functions. These measurements can be set up using the Assistant application on a smartphone or tablet. Additionally, the meter's robust aluminum housing offers secure grip and protection from electromagnetic interference.
By connecting a vibration sensor, you can also use the SVAN 979 as a vibration meter and perform acceleration, velocity, and displacement measurements.
