Siemens' SIWAREX WP241 is a connected module for continous weighing applications, like belt scales and solids flowmeters. It includes four 24 VDC digital inputs, four 24 VDC digital outputs, and one 0/4-20 mA analog output. WP231 electronics connect to the SIMATIC S7-1200 automation system vial backplane bus and can connect to an operator panel or PLCs via Ethernet Modbus TCP/IP or RS-485 Modbus RTU. SIWAREX WP241 is a weighing module designed for SIMATIC S7-1200 integration via the Totally Integrated Automation (TIA) Portal engineering platform. Ethernet and RS485 interfaces with Modbus protocol lets you integrate the SIWAREX WP241 into different control systems. SIWAREX WP241 offers four digital inputs and outputs and one analog output. All inputs and outputs are controllable via the SIWAREX module or via SIMATIC S7-1200.
SIAREX WP241 is factory calibrated and comes with zeroing and taring functions. Automatic calibration functions let you adjust the the scale without adjustment weights, and replace modules without the need to readjust the scale.
