Four-wire, 25 GHz FMCW radar level transmitter for continuous level monitoring of solids in ranges up to 328 feet (100 meters), especially those with extremely low dielectrics, extreme dust, or high temperatures. 8° or 11° beam angle. Stainless steel horn antennas with aluminum enclosure. HART or Profibus PA communications. Good for process temperatures to 392°F (200°C) and media with dielectric constant greater than 1.4.

Siemens SITRANS LR460 is a four-wire FMCW radar level transmitter for continuous level measurement of dry solids. It offers a high signal-to-noise ratio and advanced signal processing for reliable operations. It features an integral Easy Aimer to optimize signal quality when the unit is installed on sloped surfaces. The SITRANS LR460 is virtually unaffected by atmospheric or temperature conditions within the process or storage vessel. It can be ordered with an optional dust cap or air purging for sticky solids applications.

  • Key applications include long-range dusty applications, cement powder, fly ash, coal, flour, grain, and plastics, and dry bulk materials with dielectric constant greater than 1.4
