Electromagnetic flow sensors designed to meet groundwater, drinking water, wastewater, water distribution, irrigation, and sewage or sludge applications. Available in pipe diameters from 0.5" to 48" for media temperatures 14° to 158° F and operating pressures to 580 PSI. Complete flowmeter includes local- or remote-mounted FMT020 flow transmitter, ordered separately. Can be installed in zero pipe diameters upstream/downstream installations with accuracy of 0.4%.
Siemens SITRANS FMS500 flow sensors are designed for monitoring flow in water and wastewater applications. It comes standard with corrosion-resistant, epoxy-coated carbon steel body, Hastelloy C-276 integrated grounding and measuring electrodes, and EPDM or NBR liner, and is available in sizes from 1/2" to 48" diameters.
The FMS500 coned liner design provides increased low flow accuracy for water leak detection. The rugged unit suitable for direct burial and constant flooding, and when ordered with an EPDM liner, can be used for drinking water applications.
Key applications include water abstraction, water and wastewater treatment, water distribution and leak detection, custody transfer water meters, irrigation, filtration, and industrial water applications.
