SITRANS CU02 is an alarm control unit that provides reliable continuous protection for bulk solids flow. DIN-rail mount device with LCD display, pushbutton control, 0-10 VDC input from SITRANS AS100 acoustic sensor, two SPDT relay outputs, 4-20 mA output, programmable startup and alarm delays.
Siemens' SITRANS CU02 alarm control unit provides reliable continuous protection for bulk solids flow. It serves as the control for the SITRANS AS100 acoustic sensor, and can be mounted up to 1500 feet (500 meters) away. The AS100's 0-10 VDC output feeds directly into the CU02.
The system can be readily configured for setpoints to indicate high flow, low flow or no flow conditions. It can be easily added to a control loop via a 4 to 20 mA isolated output for trend monitoring proportional to the signal from the sensor.
The SITRANS CU02 alarm control unit has two relays that are fully programmable and independent of each other and can be used to operate an alarm or control device. Alarming may be provided above or below a setpoint or within a band. Readings are displayed locally on the three-digit LCD display that also has a multisegment graphic for operational status.
The SITRANS AS100 and CU02 system replaces the retired Milltronics Mass Dynamics Senaco.
