Siemens SIPART PS2 electropneumatic positioner is used to control the final control elements of linear and rotary actuators. With its wide range, and an infinitely adjustable 3- to 130-mm stroke range, SIPART PS2 can be directly integrated to modern actuators without pipe work and without additional overhead. Depending on your application requirements, PS2 can be ordered with 4-20 mA position feedback, three-output alarm module, and limit signaling.
The SIPART PS2 features simple operation, with local manual configuration using three pushbuttons and a user-friendly two-line display. Models with HART communications can also be commissioned and monitored using SIMATIC PDM software. It features extensive diagnostics for both the valve and actuator, including full stroke test, step response and multi-step response tests, and valve performance tests.
