MK75A

Wafer-style body control valve with sliding gate and modular stackable actuator. Available in 1" to 6" sizes. Carbon steel or stainless steel body. Designed for maximum allowable pressure drops, reduced weight and footprint dimensions, with straight-through flow for reduced noise, wear, longer seat life, and rangeability. Suitable for gas, chemical, and steam applications.

Jordan Valve's Mark 75A wafer-style control valve features a modular, stackable actuator to provide additional thrust to handle maximum allowable pressure drops, reduce weight and footprint dimensions, and pack the benefits of Jordan's sliding gate seat design in a compact body. The Mark 75A is available in 1" to 6" (DN25 - DN150") sizes and can be used in a variety of gas, chemical, or steam applications.

The Mark 75A's stroke length is longer than other sliding gate valves to enable better turndown, and shorter than conventional globe-style valves for fast response and extra packing life. The sliding gate offers straight-through flow for less noise, less wear, longer seat life, and better rangeability. The flangeless wafer body reduces weight and overall valve footprint.

The new actuator design has an effective diaphragm area of 25 square inches per module and can be stacked to multiply the total effective area to 50 or 75 square inches. So, with a 15-30 bench set and 45 PSI of air, the 25M actuator has 375 pounds of thrust, the 50M has 750 pounds, and the 75M has 1,125 pounds of thrust, more than double the thrust of Jordan's largest 85M actuator with a standard bench set.

The Mark 75A features a T-slot design connection to the disc for quick and easy reversing of functions. Instead of having to go into the actuator to change action, just turn the seats 180°, and the valve can go from direct to reverse acting (or vice versa).
