Jerguson MLS Side-Mounted Magnetic Level Switch

The Jerguson JMLS series horizontal mount float switches are reliable level instruments that operate by repelling magnetic forces. They can be used for leak detection, overflow alarm, low level alarms, and a variety of simple liquid level switching applications.

The JMLS uses two magnets: a primary permanent magnet and a second magnet positioned so the two poles repel against each other. As the liquid level changes, it causes the float assembly to rise and fall and the float magnet repels the switch magnet, in turn activating the switch.
