Honeywell SLATE R8001M Low Torque Quarter-Turn Actuator

Honeywell's SLATE actuator series includes commercial- and industrial-grade low torque quarter-turn actuators available in 50 and 150 in/lb models with highly repeatable position accuracy. It communicates to the SLATE combustion control system through the SLATE air-fuel ratio module (R8001C6001).

SLATE actuators an be mounted to Honeywell Maxon CV 1.5" to 2" valves, Honeywell V51E 1.5" to 4" valves, and Honeywell V5197A 0.75" to 3" valves.  Mounting kits contain all parts necessary to mount a SLATE actuator to a CV or V5197A valve. To connect to a V51E, an additional mounting bracket is required.

• Commercial Model: NEMA 1 rated, suitable for -18° to 158° F, with 450 positions over a 90° span (30 second travel time), generic alarm fault annunciation, RS-485 non-isolated communications, temperature sensor with alarm only
• Industrial Model: NEMA 4 rated, suitable for -40° to 158° F, with 900 positions over a 90° span (15 second travel time), fault annunciation, RS-485 isolated communications,  temperature sensor with alarm and real-time data, enhanced data logging
• Available in 50 In/Lb and 150 In/Lb models, rated for continuous duty cycles
• Field-reversible clockwise and counterclockwise rotation operation
• Internal temperature, valve status, health diagnostics, and error codes reporting
• Closed loop position control via Modbus RS-485 communications as an input to the SLATE Fuel Air Ratio Module, part R8001C6001
• Diecast aluminum base with high-impact resistant, reinforced plastic cover
• Dual 1/2" knockout conduit connections
• 1/2" keyed output shaft with one 1/8" square key
