The Midas S2 is a fixed, extractive single point gas detector for oxygen, a wide range of toxic, and flammable gases. It's designed for detection of gases used or generated in semiconductor manufacturing operations, light manufacturing environments, and national and university labs that specialize in semiconductor processing research.
The Midas® S2 fixed extractive gas detector comes in a compact package that makes it ideal for installation in tight spaces. It's easy to set up and with plug-and-play capability, and it offers easy front access to change sensor and pump. The Midas S2 offers local and remote gas monitoring of points up to 30 meters (100 feet) away.
With Power over Ethernet (PoE) protocol, you get a single connection for all power, control and communication requirements. Midas S2 also gives you clear visibility of instrument status icons, monitoring point and location, and instant alerts to gas readings or alarm levels. It's interface design features keypad and increased security with password-protected menus to maintain system integrity.
A complete system includes: Midas® S2 transmitter, sensor cartridge, sample and exhaust tubing, and end of line filters.
