Fireye's 55UV5 discrete flame scanners are self-checking, ultraviolet devices used to detect the presence or absence of flames that emit UV radiation from fossil fuels like natural gas, coke oven gas, propane, methane, butane, kerosene, light petroleum distillates, and diesel fuels.
When used with a flame amplifier, the 55UV5 provides flame failure protection on single and multi-burner industrial applications. Fireye's 55UV5 scanners monitor the flame of only one burner, and are compatible with the Flame-Monitor, D-Series, FlameWorx, and MicroM control models.
