Vortex shedding flowmeter for water, water/glycol mixtures, or low viscousity fluids. Comes in 3-wire and 2-wire versions. Available in 1/4" to 4" sizes with flow rates from 3 to 600 GPM depending on flowmeter size.

The CoolPoint flowmeters design doesn't have any moving parts to clog or wear, resulting in minimal maintenance in the field. Applications include mining, concrete fleet management water batching, manufacturing, steel making, power generation, district heating water and temperature sensing, water treatment, pulp and paper, and semiconductor.

They come in 3-wire version, where power is supplied separate from the 4-20 mA output, and a 2-wire loop-powered version.

The 3-wire version is equipped with a solid state relay that can be configured in the field to be either an alarm or a pulse output, an LED display which lets you choose between selectable engineering units (GPM or LPM), and a high temperature option. You can also choose between a high or low alarm (NO or NC) and set the pulse output frequency at specific pulses per gallon.

The 2-wire loop-powered option allows for operation in an intrinsically safe mode only when used in conjunction with an approved intrinsic safety barrier. This version does not come with a display or relay contacts.
