High performance fiber-optic sensor designed for demanding applications, even in low-contrast. The D10 sensor contains all the electronics, the amplifier, and the mechanical interface to the fiber. Available with solid state PNP/NPN, discrete PNP or NPN outputs, or analog and discrete outputs. Slender plastic housing has a bargraph or 4-digit display beneath the clear cover for easy programming and status monitoring during operation.
Banner D10 fiber optic systems are designed for use in confined areas where space is limited, high temperature applications up to 315C, high vibration and shock, corrosive and wet environments, explosive environments, electrically noisy environments, and applications with unique target shapes. These include punch presses, conveyors, ovens, tablet counting, web control, liquid level, vibratory feeders, and semiconductor processing equipment.
