Optical dissolved oxygen sensor with dual 4-20 mA outputs 12 mA at 100% saturation so it covers a range of zero to 200% saturation (approximately 16 ppm). Ryton PPS body, stainless steel pin, two-year replaceable acrylic sensor membrane. 3/4" NPTM mounting connections. 15-foot cable standard. Compatible with AquaMetrix AM-2300 and AM-2252 controllers.
The AquaMetrix AM-ODO2 is the only optical dissolved oxygen sensor with dual 4-20mA outputs (% saturation and concentration in ppm or mg/l). The choice is up to the user to operate the sensor as a single output (%sat or ppm) or dual outputs (%sat and ppm) at the same time. It can connect to any PLC, recorder, DCS, or loop controller analog input, or the AquaMetrix AM-2300 web-enabled controller.
Unlike electrochemical DO sensors, optical dissolved oxygen sensors are inherently self-referencing. They don't require a filling solution, a warm-up period, or sample flow. The sensor membrane lasts for up to two years, and is easy to replace. The corrosion-resistant body is designed to stand up to harsh environments in wastewater applications.
Key applications include wastewater treatment, sewage, boilers, fish farms, and aquaculture.
